It was a beautiful night in Los Angeles. After a hike on Runyon Canyon I walked down Sunset Blvd. to see what all the hoopla was with Obama's visit. After walking pretty far, I started to think.... "Jeez, if I do see him, he is only going to be in the motorcade. And then I'm going to have to walk all the way back home." So, I didn't walk all the way to The House of Blues (where he was at). I stopped at a corner and who did I see walking to The Chateau Marmont....
None other, than Michael Lohan (Lindsay's father) with some blondie!
I started talking to his driver and of course I had questions to ask. Do you drive him around a lot? Is he a dick as much as he seems? However, he wouldn't offer up any good, dirty details.
He did say that after all the years of driving, the Osbourne's were his favorite!
I was given the advice that a good, safe way to let out frustrations is to write down your thoughts. However, I strongly suggest doing this at home, not at work. I accidentally saved my "thoughts" to a public server named, "To What My Life Has Come". After getting laid off/ fired from a job that I hated in Boston, I packed up my life for new and exciting adventures. I was bound for Los Angeles.

Look Mom.... I'm on TV
I got to attend the first result show for Season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars". We got pretty decent seats where they shot the hosts, Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke for a segment.
Here is a crappy picture from it. You can see me in the top right corner :-)
We were there for over 4 hours for the 2 hours of recording. They shuffled us around through security and waiting lines like cattle before seating us.
The next time I attend this show, I'll be a contestant!

A Serious Issue on "The Doctors"
A viewer wrote into "The Doctors" with a issue they are experiencing. Because they needed a professional spin on it, they called Scott Backman to do the re-enactment.

First Week, First Loss
Yesterday, we had an awesome first day of kickball. I have some great guys on my team, "The Virgin Mary's".
We also experience our first loss.... it was something like 22-0. We were down 4 players though.

It's That Time Of Year
On Friday I attended the 5th Annual ECO Emmys Celebrity Chateau. What it basically was, was a showcase of different non-profits and environment friendly companies from around the country to get celebrity attentions. What all the tables were hoping for was a big celebrity to fall in love with their company and spread the word around. Unfortunately, I don't think the event got the celebrity attendance they were hoping for.
However, Brad Sherwood (pictured below) and Penny Marshall (who definitely seemed drunk!) were there.
Here is a picture of me and one of the other celebrity ambassadors.
Today is the first day of the kickball league I joined. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun. Well, hoping it's going to be!
Last night, my friends Chris, Rusty and I went to the taping for "Dancing with the Stars". They are having a dance team to exhibition during the premiere of season 13 which they recorded before the live event. We then went to Canter's Jewish Deli and ran into Rosie Perez. What a coincidence becuase earlier that day, we were having a debate on if she was a fly girl or not. Rust went up and asked here while I was ordering rainbow cookies. Final answer, "I'm a kworyahgrahpha (that's choreographer spelled phonetically)"!

Fall is in the air...
I wonder what fall weather is going to be like in Los Angeles. The nights have been cooler which makes sleeping so much nicer!
I started a new stand-up coaching class this weekend with Greg Wilson. He's a funny guy but boy, is he a touch cookie! There were 4 of us in the class and we all got our asses kicked by him.
I also signed up for the Los Angeles Kickball League which plays for 7 weeks on Sunday. I haven't played kickball since I was in high school I'm sure. It should be a lot of fun and a great way to meet some new people.
(I've been in LA for over 4 months now, so thought it was time to get a little work done)

Sure is hot..... I need some fans!
It's another hot, hot, hot day here in Los Angeles with temperatures over 100.
Had a great time with Mike & Marco on Monday who were visiting LA from Dubai!
Last night I had a show at The Comedy Store that went really well. On Satursday I start a coaching class with Greg Wilson.
But in the meantime, make sure you like my Facebook Fan Page. This is where I'll post all my performances as well as on my website!
Have a great weekend!

Flash Mob with The Trevor Project
For Suicide Prevention Week, The Trevor Project created a flash mob to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" in the middle of Universal City Walk.
You can see a good shot of me around the 1:50 minute mark.

Deal or No Deal?!
This was my offering envelope at church today. I figured it couldn't hurt to bargain with the big guy.

It's Already Labor Day Weekend?!
I can't believe it is September already.
Last night I performed at MJ's in Silverlake for their "Thank Gay It's Friday" comedy night. It certainly was a gay old time...... average age there was 45 years old.
Today I'm off to do my first ever flash mob! It's to raise awareness of "National Suicide Prevention Week" for The Trevor Project to the song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". They sent the YouTube video of the dance to practice but we have rehearsal for 3 hours before the actual attack! (Below is the breakfast of champions I had this morning in preparation for the big event)
My friends Mike & Marco from Dubai are going to be here in LA this weekend so we'll meet up tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces!
Have a great and safe Labor Day weekend.
Thinking of you Aunt Ev!
