Hell of a Day at Sea Sir!

This afternoon I went to the taping of "Excused", a new show starting this fall on CBS. I believe it is going to be something similar to the Bachelor and Bachelorette. Another reality dating show..... just what we need.

What I had to do was walk up to the door of the house and tell the girls why they should let me in. Unfortunately, I knew I was going to be "excused" and not allowed in.

I then went to The Hollywood Improv for their open mic. They picked 16 performers out of the over 75 people who showed up. Luckily, I was chosen my first time there. Yippie!!! I spoke to some of the other comedians and some had been there up to 8 times without ever being chosen!

It was a great set so hopefully someone important was in the audience and I get a gig out of it.

Fingers crossed!

Fitting for Tonight

Tonight I'm playing The Belly Room at The Comedy Store in Hollywood.

Here is another little ditty.

Geyser on Sierra Bonita Ave.

I got in last night after going to a comedy show, laid down to watch some re-runs of The Golden Girls and was on the edge of falling asleep. All of a sudden I heard a weird noise outside my window. I had no idea what it was but thought it would only last a short time so I didn't get up to see what it was.

Finally, after 5 minutes I got up and peeked my head over the balcony. There were dozens of people out on the sidewalk, water all over the place and then I saw a geyser blowing water into the air. And then when I looked a little close, I noticed a car in the bushes and on the sidewalk.

Some kid who looked 25, had driven his brand new Mercedes knocking the fire hydrant over and landing on the sidewalk. The car was completely jacked up but hopefully Mom & Dad will get him a new one.

Geyser blew for about 30 minutes. Guys were running into the water as if they were at Water Works in Seaside, NJ. (Do my Jersey shore people remember Water Works?)

And then they finally got it turned off.

First Open Mic

Tonight I'm going to my first open mic at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. It is a lottery system, so everyone puts their name in and 10 people are chosen to perform their 5 minutes of schtick.

Back to reality...

I had a great time visiting friends in Boston and Provincetown over the past 10 days. So, now I’m back in Los Angeles; sunny skies with no clouds or rain in sight on the 10 day forecast. I have received a good number of phone calls and emails to book stand up shows so hopefully my calendar will book up quickly.

I forgot my camera in Ptown so I don’t have my pictures to post yet. However, you can take a look on Facebook where people have posted some from Carnival Week.

Day #3 on my Boston and Ptown trip.

It has been raining all day which is a huge change from the L.A. weather I have gotten so use to. And as usual, Jeff and I have befriended more women then men.

Nice to be back!

Another first...

After my back waxing, I developed some red irritation and thought the best thing to do would be to get a spray tan. You know, to help blend it all together.

I got to my appointment and met a very pretty Lauren. She was going to do me! I stripped down to my undies and there she went..... Spraying her stuff all over me.

I didn't realize this was going to be an education lesson either. She asked me if I knew what a "pig on a spit" was. She proceeded to describe and act out with me.

Jonathan, my younger bro gets here on Sunday night from New Jersey. Unfortunately, he gets in after my stand-up performance. We are going skydiving in San Diego and will probably do other tourist things. Get our anus' bleached, pick up a hooker and have a nice lunch consisting of water cress, lemon wedges and water. 

And then next Friday I'm off to Boston and Ptown! Look out New Enlanders, the bitch is coming back for a visit.

First time for everything but... OUCH!!

I like new adventures, I'm not prude and I'm definitely not shy. I tried something today that I've never done before. I have a few friends that have done it and it certainly has been recommended to me in the past. So I took today by the balls and dove right in!

I got my back waxed!

In preparation for my vacation to Boston and Ptown next Friday, a little manscaping was in order. I can take care of everything else except for my back.

Also, I am trying to dodge the nicknames my friend Jeff likes to make up for me including Hairy Backman.

Smooth as a baby's ass now!
